1. Overview
These Terms of Service govern all services offered by You Need Branding (“YNB”, “we”, “us”) through youneedbranding.com. By purchasing a service, booking a session, or submitting a form, you agree to these terms in full.
YNB offers three categories of service: strategic consulting (Architecture Intensive), ongoing positioning and infrastructure work (Retainer & Project-Based Engagements), and AI video production (AI Video Studio). Each category carries its own delivery conditions, outlined below.
2. Architecture Intensive
What it is
A 90-minute strategic session conducted via Google Meet, followed by a written Architectural Roadmap delivered within 48 hours of the session.
Payment
$497, paid in full at booking. The session is confirmed upon receipt of payment. No partial payments or payment plans are available for this service.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the session: full refund issued.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours: no refund. The session may be rescheduled once within 30 days.
- No-shows without prior notice: no refund, no reschedule.
Deliverable
The Architectural Roadmap is a strategic document. It constitutes analysis and recommendations, not a guarantee of results. Implementation outcomes depend on the client’s execution.
Intellectual Property
The Roadmap is produced for the client’s private use. It may not be resold, redistributed, or published without written permission from YNB.
3. Strategic & Infrastructure Services (Project & Retainer Work)
Scope
Services in this category include — but are not limited to — brand positioning, offer architecture, verbal and visual identity, monetization design, CRM and automation infrastructure, and web architecture. The exact scope is defined per engagement.
Proposals & Agreements
All project-based engagements begin with a written scope of work. Work does not begin until the scope is agreed and the deposit is received.
Payment Terms
- A deposit (minimum 50%) is required to begin work. The exact deposit amount is stated in the project proposal.
- Remaining balance is due upon completion or at milestones defined in the proposal.
- Invoices are due within 7 days of issue. Late payments accrue interest at 1.5% per month after the due date.
Revisions
The number of revision rounds is defined in the project proposal. Revisions outside that scope are quoted and billed separately.
Cancellation
If a client cancels a project after work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable. Work completed beyond the deposit value is invoiced and due upon cancellation.
Delays
If a client fails to provide required inputs (briefs, assets, approvals, feedback) within 14 days of request, YNB reserves the right to pause the project, reschedule it in the queue, or apply a restart fee.
Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of full payment, the client owns all final deliverables. YNB retains the right to display completed work in its portfolio unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
4. AI Video Production (AI Video Studio)
What it is
AI-produced video content built to the client’s brief, delivered digitally via Google Drive. Packs are defined on the AI Video page and include scripting, voice, visuals, editing, and delivery as specified per pack.
Payment
Payment is made in full at checkout via Fluent Cart. Production begins after payment is confirmed and the production brief is received and approved.
Production Brief
After payment, the client receives a production brief form. Completion of this form is required before production begins. YNB is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or late brief submission.
Revisions
- Launch, Social, and Pro packs include 1 revision round.
- Pro Social pack includes 2 revision rounds.
- A revision covers minor adjustments: caption changes, timing corrections, tone refinements, and minor visual edits.
- Changes that require regenerating the video from a new direction, new script, or substantially different concept are treated as a new production scope and quoted separately.
Refunds
Refunds are not available once production has started. If the client is unsatisfied with the final delivery after all included revision rounds are exhausted, the case is reviewed individually. YNB does not guarantee satisfaction beyond the scope of the included revisions.
Asset Quality
Output quality depends directly on the quality of client-provided inputs. A clear voice recording, a sharp photograph, and a well-defined brief produce significantly better results. YNB is not liable for quality limitations that result from low-quality client-provided assets.
Languages
Language delivery is limited to the number included in the selected pack. The Pro Social pack supports up to 3 languages (1 main + 2 additional). Requests beyond the pack scope are quoted separately.
Delivery
Final files are delivered via Google Drive in formats optimized for the client’s stated platform. The client retains full rights to all delivered content. YNB retains the right to reference the production in its portfolio unless the client requests otherwise.
AI Disclosure
All videos produced under this service are AI-generated. This is disclosed to the client at point of purchase. The client accepts the nature of AI production by completing checkout.
5. General Terms
Accuracy of Information
The client is responsible for the accuracy of all information provided during onboarding, briefing, or intake. YNB produces work based on client inputs and is not liable for outcomes resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information.
Confidentiality
YNB treats all client business information as confidential and does not share it with third parties, except where required to deliver the service (e.g., production partners).
Results
YNB provides strategy, production, and infrastructure. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes, revenue results, or audience responses. Our work creates conditions for growth — execution and results remain the client’s responsibility.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Illinois.
Modifications
YNB reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Updates are effective upon publication at youneedbranding.com/terms-of-service/. Continued use of the site or its services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
